Quick News

Coldplay have officially released the title to their much anticipated new record. For the past couple months, speculation has been brewing as to what the title of their fourth record maybe. According to Rolling Stone, the band is calling it Viva La Vida (Long Live Life) . The Spanish title comes from the band recording in Spain around this time last year and comes from a series of paintings by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. Singer Chris Martin tells the magazine “She went through a lot of shit, of course, and then she started a big painting in her house that said Viva la Vida [...] I just loved the boldness of it.”Martin then began to joke “Everyone thinks it comes from Ricky Martin, which is fine. I have absolute respect.” Viva La Vida is due out this summer.

Also speaking to Rolling Stone is E Street Band guitarist and Soprano's Alum, Little Steven "Silvio Dante" Van Zandt. He gives a great interview on the band, his projects and being on stage every night with one of the greatest bands ever.
