Bjork's forthcoming app album, Biophilia has been pushed back from September 27 to October 11.

After playing this past weekend's Reading and Leeds festivals, Frank Turner has acknowledged that he will return to his hardcore roots again. The former Million Dead front man is now a solo folk singer and will be returning to his original form and has put together "a little side project" as he calls it that will be out in 2012.

The legendary Iggy Pop has revealed that his working on new material with The Stooges guitarist James Williamson. He tells Rolling Stone this exclusive info, but refuses to comment whether it it will be solo material or new Stooges material.

Empire of the Sun's Luke Steele told NME that the new material he is working on will be "more Hollywood." He says to the magazine, "The new songs are grander, more Disney, more colourful. On the last album we wanted to cross things over and do a little movie initially but at the end of the day a good song is a good song and all the other stuff didn't really matter once the songs took off. For this record we want the songs to be more Hollywood, just bigger and more imaginative."
