This years Bridge School Benefit curated annually by Neil Young will feature Arcade Fire, Foo Fighters, Mumford & Sons, Dave Matthews, Beck, Eddie Vedder, Jenny Lewis and Los Invisibiles featuring Santana. The two day event takes place October 22 and 23 in Mountain View, California. The Bridge School benefits children with severe physical impairments and complex communication needs. Neil Young and his wife founded the school in 1986.

Only a few more months to call Dante Smith aka Mos Def - Mos Def. Mos is changing his name after the new year and will refer to himself as Yasiin, which means "rich" in Arabic.

Fancy being apart of a Flaming Lips song? Well, now is your chance! The Oklahoma psychedelic rockers are set to record a six hour, yes - you read that right - six hour song. For $100 fans can have their name be featured in the epic song entitled, "Found a Star on the Ground." All of the proceeds raised by the track will go to charity.

The anticipated Metallica / Lou Reed duet record, Lulu wont be out until the end of October, but the mega-group have spilled the beans on the track listing as well as some insight that the album will feature two 11 minute songs and the final song, "Junior Dad," will be over 19 minutes.
