NEW HOLD STEADY!!!!

In their first album sans keyboardist, organist and accordion player Franz Nicolay, Brooklyn's finest, The Hold Steady will fire back May 2 with Heaven is Whenever. Singer Craig Finn describes the direction about the album on the band's website as “embracing suffering and finding reward in our everyday lives.” In a press release guitarist Tab Kubler states "I think this is a guitar heavy record. But I would NOT say this is a heavy guitar record. The main objective being not to make the same record as the one previous. I love Boys and Girls and Stay Positive. But they have a very similar feel and sound." Heaven is Whenever is the band's follow up to 2008's Stay Positive. Take a look at the tracklisting below.
