In January 2007 my whole world flipped upside down when I saw The Hold Steady on Late Show with David Letterman. Their performance of "Stuck Between Stations," not only had me hooked, it had me realize this was a band filling the musical void in my life. They became one of my all time favorite acts and still continue to impress me.
Friday night the band returned to where it all started (for me at least) Ed Sullivan Theater to perform "The Weekenders," off their latest Heaven is Whenever. Take a look and I hope you fall in love with them the way Letterman and I have.
