Quick News

It has been confirmed that The Rolling Stones will be joined by Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, and The Black Keys at their final 50th Anniversary concert in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday night.

Dave Grohl has confirmed he will not be touring with Queens of the Stone Age behind their new record, which he is playing drums on. The album is set for release next year.

Speaking to The New Yorker, Trent Reznor gave a massive update on Nine Inch Nails and other projects he is working on. In 2014 Nine Inch Nails will release a career spanning greatest hits record that will feature two brand new tracks. A new NIN album is set to follow. Reznor, who is also working with the same people behind Beats By Dre, unveiled he and that team are creating a new music streaming service called Daisy. Daisy, which is set to launch in early 2013, he said, "uses mathematics to offer suggestions to the listener... [but also] would present choices based partly on suggestions made by connoisseurs, making it a platform in which the machine and the human would collide more intimately." In the article, when asked how Daisy compares to Spotify, he said, "Here's sixteen million licensed pieces of music,’ they’ve said, but you’re not stumbling into anything. What's missing is a service that adds a layer of intelligent curation. That first wave of music presentation which felt magical, the one where the songs are chosen by algorithms that know who you listened to... has begun to feel synthetic."
