Titus Andronicus have confirmed via Twitter that they are done working on their third record.

Former Libertine and Dirty Pretty Things frontman, Carl Barat is joining a new band. Barat will join the London band, Eyes On Film. Initially the axeman was going to join the band for one gig, but will be with them for the foreseeable future.

Bjork and legendary director David Attenbourogh are teaming up to create a music documentary called Attenbourogh and Bjork: The Nature of Music. The documentary will feature the history of music, our relationship with it as humans and music's relationship with technology. In a press statement about the project it said, "Born from Bjork's revolutionary music project [2011's Biophilia] we are thrilled to be able to document this incredible journey with her; she is undeniably one of the most iconic figures in popular culture and truly pushes boundaries like no other artist does."

Coheed And Cambria announced that their upcoming studio record, The Afterman, will be a double concept album and will be released in two separate parts. Part one, The Afterman: Ascension, will be out October 9th. Part two, The Afterman: Descension, will be released in 2013.

Via Twitter, Jimmy Eat World confirmed they will begin work on their new album this month.
