It has been confirmed that Yeah Yeah Yeah's will release a new album in Spring 2013.

Lenny Kravitz is set to play Marvin Gaye in a biopic directed by Julian Temple (The Great Rock and Roll Swindle, Glastonbury). The film will chronicle the final years of Gaye's life.

Speaking to XFM, Johnny Marr reveled why he changed his name from Johnny Maher (like Bill Maher the political comedian) to the Marr we all know. He said,"The original spelling of my name was Maher. In school I was always called Ma-her and May-her, going to the doctors or whatever. So I just thought I'd make it easier for everybody when I was 14 or something. And also the drummer from the Buzzcocks is called Maher, so I didn't want to be confused with him. I was probably quite confident that I was going to make it in the music industry!"

Could R. Kelly's cult classic Trapped in the Closet (Which is also getting more chapters this weekend on IFC) come to Broadway? According to Kelly at the new Trapped in the Closet's chapters premiere he mentioned that he has offers to bring the twisted musical to Broadway and may even star in some performances.

Speaking of Broadway, a re-imagining of Romeo and Juliet called The Last Goodbye will be featured around the music of late musician Jeff Buckley. The musical, which takes its name from a Buckley tune, is set to open in 2013.
