Could it be? Could Andre 3000 finally be working on new music? Producer Mike Will Made It posted an Instagram video of him and Andre in the studio, leading to speculation that the go-to producer could be reviving the solo career of the hip-hop legend. No official word has been given from both camps.
Speaking to The Guardian recently, Robyn gave an update on her new album and pretty much laid down that fans should not hold their breath for new music. The Swedish sensation said, "Yeah. I mean, I've started working again. I don't know what it will be – it's too early to say if it's going to be an album, or an EP. I don't even know if it's going to be my own music. We shall see." Robyn's last works were 2010's Body Talk series.
Taking to their Tumblr page, The Gaslight Anthem posted an update to fans that they are currently working on new music while on tour. The band said, "Working on new songs for a new Gaslight Anthem album in 2014.
Dig it. Tour’s been great, Brian’s very pleased he hasn’t has many photos of him taken. He’s busy in the back of the bus writing new songs, something about Bob Dylan and Led Zepplin and Neil Young in the same band. We don’t know what he’s on about. We’ll leave him be for now… We haven’t seen him in anything but sunglasses for the last three days. At least Ray Ban is very pleased."
Manic Street Preachers will release their new album, Rewind The Film in September.
