Sad news to report, the "Mother of Hip-Hop," Sylvia Robinson passed away Thursday morning at a hospital in New Jersey. Robinson, was a pioneer in the genre as she founded Sugar Hill Records which featured the infamous Sugar Hill Gang, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five and many others. She was 75.

Is the Boss releasing new music this November? A press release has been circulating that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will release a record called Arcade at Night. It will be the first album and first new material since the passing of longtime sax player, Clarence Clemons who passed away in June.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Flea discussed the forthcoming Thom Yorke /Atoms for Peace album in which he is apart of. Flea says "Thom and Nigel [Godrich] have taken that stuff and done shit with it. I've heard little bits and pieces. I have no idea when it's going to come out. Not real soon though." Flea was featured as a touring member of Atoms for Peace in 2010 and is now a full-time musician with the band as well.
