Radiohead guitarist Johnny Greenwood has confirmed he will be teaming with Oscar nominated director, Paul Thomas Anderson again for the score to Anderson's latest film, The Master. The film, which stars Amy Adams, Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Dern is about the construction of the Church of Scientology. Hoffman is said to play the church's founder, L. Ron Hubbard. This is Greenwood and Anderson's second collaboration together, the first was 2007's masterpiece There Will Be Blood which Greenwood famously did the score for.

Best Coast drummer and former Vivian Girl, Ali Koehler is no long a member of the California band. Koehler tweeted,"Cat's outta the bag, I'm not in Best Coast anymore,”she then went onto say that leaving the band was "not my choice." No official statement has been made yet from Best Coast.

Filling the shoes of a character like Frank Carter can be difficult, but new Gallows singer Wade McNeil is up for the challenge. He spoke to Kerrang! magazine and said "I think in the UK the myth of Frank Carter is bigger than the reality in a lot of situations. You hear stuff like 'At this one show I saw Frank shoot these skinheads with a shotgun!' And you know what? I don't think that really happened. All we can do is play these shows as hard as we fucking can, and I think they're going to be crazy and everyone's going to have a good time."

Jay-Z is set to make history as he will be the first rapper to ever headline a concert at New York's famed Carnegie Hall. HOV will play two shows in February as a fundraiser for his Shaun Carter Foundation Charity.
