Damon Albarn is currently working with Bobby Womack as Womack's producer for his new album. Womack and Albarn have worked together in the past, most recently was last years League of Their Own winner - Gorillaz Plastic Beach album.
Karen O of Yeah Yeah Yeahs told The Sun that she and the band have been working on new material. She says "I've been tinkering around on some new Yeah Yeah Yeahs music with the boys." Hoping for a new album next year. The band's last record was 2009's It's Blitz.
Nick Cave has confirmed that he has broken up his other band, Grinderman. The band released two albums and confirmed the news to the crowd at Meredith Music Festival in Victoria, Australia last night.
