Thanks to an amnesty bill and pardon from Russian President Vladmir Putin, the remaining members of Pussy Riot could be released any day. The remaining two members Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, 24, and Maria Alyokhina, 25, were due to be released in March, but the bill will get them out earlier. Fuck Yes!
After years of waiting and hoping, iconic hip-hop duo Mobb Deep are reuniting and will release their new album, The Infamous Mobb Deep in the spring. The album will be a double LP, one of brand new cuts and another to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut, Infamous, which will feature rare cuts, and remastered songs.
Pusha-T has confirmed that he will enter the studio next month with Pharell to work on the follow-up to this years LP, My Name is My Name.
Speaking of Pharell, he will release his first solo album in eight years next year. No word yet on a release date.
