In a surprise, free performance to fans, The Stone Roses played their first reunion show in 16 years Warrington Parr Hall in England. The gig, which happened on Wednesday night, had mobs of fans hoping to get in. According to NME, here is the band's set list:

Speaking to NME, producer William Orbit has given an update on the new Blur record, basically telling fans, don't hold your breath. Orbit said, "The new stuff sounded amazing. Then it all stopped suddenly. It was all over with Damon [Albarn], and the rest of the band were like, 'Is this it?'"Blur are set to perform at the Olympic's Closing Ceremonies in London in August.

Justin Timberlake is making a move back to music! Well, not the way you think. The singer and actor will be scoring his first film, The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, the film stars his wife-to-be Jessica Biel.

The Flaming Lips are attempting to break Jay-Z's Guinness World Record of "Most Live Concerts in 24 hours in Multiple Cities." In a press release, Lips singer, Wayne Conye said, "I've accepted the attempt at breaking the world record of performing eight shows in 24 hours. And I've explained to the music freaks at MTV, VH1 and CMT that I am not a host… But, I always liked the way Jerry Lewis would get all sweaty toward the end of his yearly telethon… To play and sing Flaming Lips songs at eight in the morning… Well, I'm open to new experiences…"
