Before leaving Weezer in 1997, bassist Matt Sharp formed beloved 90's indie group, The Rentals. The band have had an on-again-off-again status since 2006, but Sharp has confirmed that The Rentals, with a new line-up, will release a new album in 2014.

Speaking of 90's bands, Veruca Salt have also confirmed that their original line-up is back together and they will tour and release new material next year.

Speaking to Boston radio station WZLX, Rod Stewart said a reunion with his first band, The Faces, is likely to happen but fans will have to wait until 2015.

While making a speech at Art Basel in Miami, Kanye West has confirmed he is looking to release a new album next year but will only feature eight songs.
