The family of late hip-hop producer J. Dilla are set to donate his equipment to the Smithsonian. Among the items that will be donated are his custom-made Minamoog Voyager synthesizer and rare Akai MIDI Production Centre 3000 Limited Edition.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will feature an exhibit, starting next week, on the costumes worn by Beyonce. From those that have been featured in videos to on-stage performances to tours, the exhibit will encompass all of Beyonce's most iconic outfits.

Following a recent health scare, many speculated that Sir Paul McCartney would retire. However, Macca is silencing critics in a recent interview with Rolling Stone saying, "I'll retire when I feel like it." He then continued to say, "People say, "But why do you care, man? Someone like Bob Dylan doesn't necessarily care – he'll just do what he wants, and that's cool. I say, "Yeah, but I have these memories that haunt me of these concerts that I went to and these records that I bought." I don't want those people in my audience thinking, "Hey, we came for big hits, and you played a bunch of shit.'"

 Former Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri will release his latest solo album, Leave Me Alone, in September.
