We Were Promised Jetpacks confirmed that their new album will be called Unraveling and it will be released later this year.

Speaking to NME, Carl Barat has confirmed that The Libertines will release a new album next year. He said, "Next year, it has to be. I don't wanna just go on the road because then you'll get cabin fever and have an epic fallout. So yeah, I want to keep something fresh coming in. We just need to find the time."

Roni Size will release his first album in a decade called Take Kontrol on August 18.

Courtney Love will appear as a schoolteacher in the upcoming season of Sons of Anarchy. The show, which will enter its final season this fall has already casted Marilyn Manson to link up with SAMCRO crew.

After 21 years, drummer Jeremy Taggart has left Our Lady Peace. The band announced on their Facebook page: "It is with sadness that we say goodbye to Jeremy as the drummer in OLP. Jeremy was important to us all and we wish him nothing but the best as he explores life outside OLP and pursues new goals. A wise man once said "change is the law of life and those who only look to the past are certain to miss the future. We will always treasure our past but we are truly excited about the future. We've just finished recording new music with producer Mike Elizondo and will be showcasing some of the new material on the upcoming summer shows."

 Brian Johnson has confirmed to Classic Rock that AC/DC have finished their new album. No word as to when it will be released.

Joy Division / New Order member Bernard Sumner will release his autobiography, Chapter and Verse in September.
