It has been confirmed that the Shane Meadows documentary on The Stone Roses, Made of Stone, will be released in June. The date comes to mark the bands one year anniversary since reuniting last year and performing two homecoming gigs in Manchester, England.

Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger is collaborating with Pearl Jam for their new album. The guitarist is actually composing and arranging strings for the Seattle bands forthcoming new album.

Simon and Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence," and Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, along with Chubby Checker's "The Twist," will be added to The Library of Congress' National Recording Registry for Preservation. Also among the additions this year are Leontyne Price, Ornette Coleman, The Ramones, The Bee Gees, Clarence Ashley, Doc Watson, Philip Glass, Betty Carter, Junior Wells, Jimmie Davis, Frank Yankovic, The Blackwood Brothers and The Neville Brothers.

Talk about being way ahead of the curve, five years ago we introduced you to English band Tripwires as part of our monthly Rising Artist picks. Yet, as the years went on the band seemed to quiet down a bit, but now, finally, they are releasing their debut album, Spacehopper in June via French Kiss. Take a look at the album cover below:
