Foo Fighters have confirmed that their still-untitled new album will arrive this fall and was recorded in eight different cities across America. The band describes the album as a "Love letter" to American music and in each city the band recorded in, they recruited a local legend to play on the LP.

Action Bronson has titled his forthcoming album, Mr. Wonderful. No word as to when the album will be released.

Speaking to Billboard, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith has revealed the band are working on their new album. Smith said, "It's only been a couple of months, so we're just starting to write and get in the groove of things. This is my favourite time, being creative, coming up with ideas. You go there at 11 o'clock with something that wasn't a piece of music, everyone collaborates on something, three hours later you've got something that's a piece of music that wasn't there before."

Jenny Lewis will release her new album, The Voyager, in July.

As L.A.'s FYF Fest line-up was announced today, it was revealed that Seattle art-rockers Blood Brothers are reuniting for the event. The band, who broke up in 2007, have not done a gig in seven years. No further info has been revealed for more dates or recording plans.

 Wu-Tang's Cappadonna will release his new album, Hooks Off, an album devoid of hooks, this summer.

Brit dance duo AlunaGeorge have confirmed they are working on their sophomore album and plan to release it later this year.

NYHC vets Shear Terror are releasing their first album in 18 years, Standing Up For Falling Down, next month.

As we reported earlier this year, The Flaming Lips will be releasing a covers album of The Beatles masterpiece, Sgnt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band later this year. It is now confirmed that the record will be called, With A Little Help From My Fwends, and will arrive in October. The only guests confirmed thus far are Miley Cyrus and Moby.
