VINTAGE CLIP: Rage Against the Machine on 'SNL' in 1996

20 years ago, Rage Against the Machine delivered a controversial set on Saturday Night Live which got them banned from the historic NBC program. The band were allegedly told not to do anything anti-American or make a statement, in typical punk fashion, RATM didn't care and hung an American flag upside down on one of their speakers during the first song they performed. As soon as they got off stage, the band were then told to get out of 30 Rock right away and were banned. The clip has been one of folklore for ages and has surfaced on YouTube. Take a look!
