The second annual Village Voice 4Knots Festival took place at Southstreet Seaport on Saturday and as crowds came in to watch a festival full of some of indie rocks finest that included Archers of Loaf, The Drums, Crocodiles, Hospitality, Delicate Steve, Team Spirit and more. It was a massive congestion of tourists, neighbors and security as everyone packed Pier 17 and Pier 16 to watch a handful of bands through the day. Between the massive caravans of people and hot weather, things became more difficult as part of the Seaport pier caught fire. Yet, the show still went on despite reports that it was being shut down.
