Quick News

Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard will release his solo debut, Former Lives, on October 15 in the UK and the following day in the U.S.

Babyshambles bassist, Drew McConnell, will temporarily join The Vaccines for a few shows in Europe as the bands current bassist Árni Hjörvar, cannot make the dates for undisclosed reasons.

Paul Weller is already planning out the follow-up to this years Sonik Kicks. Weller told The Daily Star, "Love has always inspired me but I’m writing even more love songs than usual at the moment. Love is the main theme of my new lyrics and I’ve got an itchy feeling that I want to make a new album as quickly as I can. The last two records, I’d make it up in the studio on the spot from tiny scraps of ideas. That’s been really liberating but if I kept doing that it’d become a formula too. So for my next album I’m totally open minded and I might go back to writing traditional songs.”

Taking to Tumblr, Kind of Like Spitting have announced a comeback. The band posted, "Kind of Like Spitting is back, full band, with a whole new line up... and the same old Ben Barnett you've all come to love. We will be using this blog to release any news, info, events, photos, videos, and all inanities that shall ensue."
