Despite having their headlining gig at Governors Ball cancelled on them, Kings of Leon announced that their new album will be called Mechanical Bull and will arrive in September.

Despite releasing the title and release of their new album this week, Nine Inch Nails guitarist Adrian Belew, former member of King Crimson has left NIN. Belew released a statement saying, "hey folks, before this goes too far let me say this: I greatly respect trent and the music he makes. no one is at fault. we both agreed it just was not working. I’m sorry to disappoint anyone. that really hurts. but NIN will do an amazing show and I am back where I belong: creating FLUX." Belew is the second member of the revamped Nine Inch Nails to leave in just a matter of months, bassist Eric Avery, formerly of Jane's Addiction, left the band in the spring.

Wu-Tang's U-God will finally release his long awaited Keynote Speaker album in July.

While the follow-up to Janelle Monae's amazing 2010 album, The Archandroid will be out in September. Monae dropped two serious names that will appear on her new album, The Electric Lady, Miguel and Prince will each make an appearance as well as Erykah Badu.
