Paul McCartney has titled his forthcoming February album, Kisses on the Bottom. The album with the cheeky name is a collection of covers and a few original songs.

Grinderman, who just announced their end last month in Australia are releasing a remix version of their final record, Grinderman 2. The album will feature remixes from Yeah Yeah Yeah's Nick Zinner, Josh Homme, Cat's Eyes, UNKLE, A Place to Bury Strangers, Silver Alert featuring Matt Berninger of The National and more. The album arrives March 12 in UK and the following day in the US.

Hip-hop internet sensation, The Weeknd is looking for a backing band to hit the road. The Weeknd, who just released his latest mixtape, Echoes of Silence is seeking out a professional guitarist and bass player in the Toronto area to travel and perform live in concert. London's Chapel Club have traded the dreary and dark UK for California sun to work on their second album. The British band, who released their debut album Palace a year ago this month, are working in LA with producer Tom Biller (Kanye West, Eels, Warpaint) for their sophomore release. No word as to when it will be released.

Velvet Revolver, who have been on hiatus in what seems to be longer than they were a band are linking up again with Scott Weiland for a benefit concert to honor their late friend, John O'Brien, who died at age 45 this past summer. The concert will also feature Tom Morello, Crosby, Stills and Nash and others will take place January 12 at LA's House of Blues.

Hot Chip have given an album update to fans via Twitter with guitarist Al Doyle tweeting, "hot chip album update: we have one more song to record then we have enough songs and we're gonna stop. Cannot wait to play them to y'all. al." No word as to when this record will be released.
