Black Sabbath guitarist, Tony Iommi has taken to his website to update fans on his cancer treatments and condition as he battles lymphoma. Iommi said, "I've had the last dose of chemotherapy so hopefully my body will start to get back to normal soon. The steroids were the worst. I've now got three weeks of radiotherapy coming up which I'm told can be very tiring, so we'll see." In January, just two months after Black Sabbath announced their reunion, Iommi was diagnosed with lymphoma, the same cancer that took the life of Joey Ramone in 2001. Black Sabbath still have plans to record a new album with producer Rick Rubin.

As we mentioned earlier in the week that R&B and soul legend Bobby Womack was diagnosed with Colon Cancer, he has been released from the hospital after a successful treatment for pneumonia.
