U2 have been confirmed at the first musical guest of the new era for The Tonight Show when Jimmy Fallon takes over on February 17.

Former Red Hot Chili Pepper John Frusciante and former At the Drive-In / Mars Volta but current Bosnian Rainbows guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez are teaming up again. This time the far reaching guitar duo are calling themselves Kimono Cult. They will release an EP in March titled Hiding in the Light. The band will also feature members of Bosnian Rainbows.

Stuart Murdoch of Belle and Sebastian spoke to Rolling Stone about the bands plans for a new record. The cult Scottish band are going to head to the studio this March and hope to release a brand new album by the fall.

After a three night run at New York's Terminal 5, which also included a guest appearance on stage with Mary J. Blige, UK dance act Disclosure are currently in the studio working with Q-Tip. The former Tribe Called Quest member posted a photo of himself with the band on Instagram and confirmed they are working together, however, it was not clear if it was for Tip's upcoming album or just a session to see if both sets of acts liked working together.
