Jay-Z has confirmed he is working with The Bullits to score the Baz Luhrmann version of The Great Gatsby which stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Gatsby and will be released this Summer.

Sad news to report, after battling Colon Cancer and releasing what may be his final record, The Bravest Man in the Universe, Bobby Womack has been diagnosed with early stages of Alzheimers. Womack released a statement that said, "Thanks to all of my fans for their prayers and well wishes. I truly appreciate and can feel your love. With the support of many good doctors, my family, and all of my wonderful fans, I will continue to write and perform and bring the good music to the people for as long as I can. – With much love, Bobby Womack."

Last month, Jay Weinberg, son of Max from The E-Street Band, left his seat as the drummer for Against Me! a position he held for over two years. Now, the Florida punks have confirmed that Adam Willard will be the bands new beat maker behind the kit.

In case you needed to figure out what to do with your holiday money or want to add some spice to your  New Year, Bad Brains now have their own hot sauce. The sauce is called Fire Burn Babylon Hardcore.

Raekwon has confirmed that his new album will be out in the second quarter of the year. The Wu-Tang Clan member is calling his new record, F.I.L.A, which is not about the famous Italian clothing company, but an acronym for Fly International Luxurious Art.

While he has been working hard editing his documentary Sound City, about the legendary Sound City studios, Dave Grohl has assembled another supergroup called, Sound City Players. Grohl has confirmed the band will make their debut at the Sundance Film Festival later this month, along with the film. The band is comprised of "core musicians and special guests," we will have to wait till Sundance to find out who is actually in the group.
