Rising Artist - Trouble Lights

When you think of brilliant electronic pop music, a place like Iowa is not the first place to come to mind. You would associate it with New York, LA, Miami, Berlin, London, Tokyo and beyond. However, do not let location fool you as artists like prove VHS or Beta, who are originally from Kentucky, you can find some amazing sounds and artists making incredible music when you least expect it. Enter Iowa's latest sound machine - Trouble Lights. Taking influences from Bjork, The Knife, Robyn, Scissor Sisters, Trouble Lights is the brainchild of Singer Adrien Daller and producer Philip Rabalais, who met and formed last year and have been taking the midwest by storm. The duo recently released their non-stop party on wax, The Endless Prom and while kids these days love to dance to the latest DJ cranking out subbass heavy EDM, it is time to go back-to-basics and check out a band that will make you move just as, if not, harder.
