A Moscow court is postponing Pussy Riot's appeal hearing after one of the three defendants, Yekaterina Samutsevich, is firing her lawyers over disagreements. Samutesvich said in court on Monday, "My position in the criminal case does not coincide with their position." The court has pushed the appeal to October 10.

After rumors began earlier this week that The Smiths were reuniting after Morrissey coyishly mentioned to Australia's Herald Sun that he received an offer from the people behind Coachella that they would go 100% Vegetarian if he and Johnny Marr got back together, the internet went on fire. Now in statements from both Morrissey and Marr's management have confirmed the band are not getting back together. Morrissey's rep said, "The Smiths are never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever going to reunite – ever," to Rolling Stone. Marr's rep said to NME, "It isn't happening. We are fully focussed on preparing Johnny's new album for release and booking shows for 2013."

Axl Rose will be giving a rare interview to Jimmy Kimmel on October 24 to promote Guns 'N Roses Las Vegas residency.

Sufjan Stevens will release a Christmas box set in November called Silver and Gold. It will contain five Christmas themed EP's.
