On Monday, Janelle Monáe was awarded the inaugural Women’s Center Award for Achievement in Arts and Media presented by The Women’s Center at Harvard College.

 Paul Weller will release his latest "Best Of" collection, More Modern Classics, in May.

Antemasque, the latest group featuring members of Mars Volta and Flea will release their self-titled debut album in July.

Speaking to Spotify to talk about the 20th anniversary of Illmatic, Nas said that he did not pick the songs nor tracklisting that appeared on his iconic debut, rather, he had the people at Sony Music take care of it. He said, "I didn’t really choose them, because it was too much to chose. I had the songs, they were apart of the list.
