Like your thirst, sometimes you need Soda to quench your ears -- no, we are not talking about pouring a can of Coca-Cola into your eardrums, instead, find out what Soda can do for you after you hear them for the first time as April's Rising Artist. The Florida trio hail from Gainsville, a city known for giving the world Less Than Jake, Against Me! and Hot Water Music, now have a new band to add to the collection of great artists that have come from that interesting place. Soda sound more as if they hail from England rather than Northern Florida, but where they come from isn't what matters it is what they sound like -- abrasive garage rock that is ready to pulverize you. After releasing their debut EP, Without a Head, in December, the band are currently on tour with Parquet Courts and captivating audiences across North America.
