Musician Robert Glasper will be teaching a class about Miles Davis at NYU this fall. Glasper will teach a seven class course on the impact that Davis had on music and how his contributes changed sound forever. In a statement, Glasper said: "It is such an honor to be teaching at the Clive Davis Institute at NYU. I am really excited about this subject – the music of Miles Davis!!! This is gonna be an incredible journey and can’t wait to get started.” Glasper recently served as the music supervisor for Miles Ahead, the biopic on Davis that recently was released.
