Sad news to report, John Berry, a founding member of Beastie Boys and the man who came out with the then-punk band's name has passed away. Berry, 52, suffered from frontal lobe dementia, which had worsened in recent months, according to his father in a statement to Rolling Stone. Our thoughts are with Berry and his family and friends.

It is being reported that the Rage Against the Machine countdown that has many people thinking it could be a reunion and tour with Public Enemy is in fact a supergroup called Prophets of Rage. The group will feature everyone from RATM but Zach de la Rocha, instead will include Public Enemy's Chuck D and B-Real from Cypress Hill.

Liam Gallagher may be making a jump back into music following the breakup of Beady Eye in 2014. Gallagher tweeted: 

Gallagher never confirmed the news but did go on to release a series of strange videos on his Twitter account.
