After filing a lawsuit again his former Black Flag members, co-founder and Black Flag guitarist, Greg Ginn, filed an injunction against his former band mates for using Black Flags iconic bars logo, a U.S. District Court judge in California denied Ginn's motion for a preliminary injunction against his former bandmates. Death Cab For Cutie have confirmed they are recording new material. No word on a release, but speculation is it could come out next year.

Speaking to Irish radio station 98FM, U2 bassist Adam Clayton has given an update on the band's latest record. Clayton said, "We are still at it. We hope to have it finished very, very soon. And it will be out, oh . . . sometime early next year. But it's a very exciting bunch of songs right at the moment . . . it's just about to be finished, so it's hard to know which way they'll go."
