Sad news to report, Pogues guitarist Paul Cheveron has passed away from a long battle with cancer. He was 56. Our thoughts go out to his family, friends, and bandmates.

Ghost. B.C. will release a deluxe edition of their awesome album, Infestissumam, which arrived earlier this year. The deluxe edition, out in November, will feature a covers EP which was produced by Dave Grohl.

Robert DeNiro who has been an icon on screen for decades, but has had a string of shitty movies since Casino (yes, Silver Linings Playbook was crap), is now finally getting involved something worthwhile. He has signed on as a producer for the West End hit, We Will Rock You, which is the musical story of Queen. De Niro is going to take it to Broadway, the musical is expected to open next year.

Gabba Gabba Hey! Rhino records has announced at the end of the month they will release a new Ramones box set. The set called, Ramones: The Sire Years (1976-1981), collects the legendary New York City punks first six albums.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, RZA has reveled he has been working with Interpol singer Paul Banks on a new project.  RZA said, "My manager came to me and said, 'Who do you want to do an album with?' I said, 'Well, Paul just has an energy about him. I think if we put our sandwich together it will be great.' Me and Paul, we play chess together and just hang out. We went to the studio and we started writing songs and they sound very, very different than what I do, but very unique and very peculiar."
