Speaking to Wall Street Journal, Jonsi of Sigur Ros has confirmed that the Icelandic band, who just released their latest live DVD, INNI are back in the studio. Sigur Ros plan to release a new album in Spring on next year.

The Walkmen are entering the studio to begin work on their upcoming album and follow-up to last years release, Lisbon. The band are aiming for a Summer release.

Tennis will follow-up their debut, Cape Dory, which was released earlier this year with Young and Old. The husband and wife duo will release the record on Valentine's Day and the album was produced by Black Keys drummer, Patrick Carney. Read our January interview with Tennis HERE.

Could David Beckham of all people been instrumental in reuniting The Stone Roses? According to The Sun magazine, the former England captain is a huge fan of the iconic Manchester band and spoke with Mani and Ian Brown about reuniting. The Sun got a tip from an anonymous source that "David has always been a huge Stone Roses fan. You've got to remember he was a young lad in Manchester when The Roses were a big deal. It was impossible to live there without being into the band. Ian and Mani are Reds through and through so they all knew each other a bit back in the day. David heard there was a chance the ice was thawing between Ian and guitarist John Squire and he got involved. He told Mani in no uncertain terms he simply had to get the band back together. He said he would be willing to ring all the boys and beg them to crack on."

Earlier this week, it was reveled that Adele had undergone vocal chord surgery in Boston. Adele, who was forced to cancel her fall tour of the US has been battling throat issues all year.

Now that he is adding film producer to his resume, thanks to the film The Longest Cocktail Party, Liam Gallagher would like to produce and get off the ground an Oasis biopic. The current Beady Eye front man and former Oasis singer tells The Sun “Sometimes, when we’ve had a few drinks, we sit about telling stories and talk about putting them in an Oasis film. I’d be up for that,” he told the paper, “But I’d start it with Paris. I wouldn’t want it to end on such a bummer. I’d start at the end and work my way backwards.”
