Manchester Orchestra surprised fans today with the release of their album, Hope, a companion piece and different interpretation to this year's fantastic album, Cope. Hope is currently on iTunes and will arrive physically in November.
Before James Mercer was in The Shins and Broken Bells, he was in a band called Flake Music and their 1992 debut, When You Land Here, It Is Time to Return is being reissued on vinyl and remastered. It will arrive in November.

Much like Frank Ocean, another star from 2012 working on his sophomore album is Kendrick Lamar. The rapper told Rolling Stone that fans can expect “aggression and emotion” on the next LP. No word as to when it will arrive, though, the interview was given in Rolling Stone's Fall Music Preview.
